The four - Yaakov Kadri, Zakaria Zabeidi, Muhammad Arida and Mahmoud Arida - were rushed to court in Nazareth under heavy security.
During the hearing, unusually, they sat bound and handcuffed.
Extending detention means transferring prisoners to "detainee" status.
This deprives them of all the rights given to prisoners, including visits, shopping in the canteen and the like.
Demonstration of support for terrorists outside the court,
The GSS requested that the detention of the four be extended by 13 days, but the court agreed to only nine days.
Outside the courtroom, about 20 young people gathered to support the fleeing terrorists.
As mentioned, their 35-year-old Mamji and Mandal Yaakov Anfiat (26) are still free and the hunt for them continues.
In the evening, extensive searches were conducted in the Jezreel Valley.
Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi also joined the HFK.
