The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the brutal repressions perpetrated by the occupation forces against defenseless Palestinians participating in the demonstrations throughout the West Bank in support of the prisoners in the occupation's prisons, amid complete international silence.
In a statement reported by Wafa Agency, the ministry expressed its deep astonishment at the continued international silence towards the violations and crimes of the occupation and settlers against an entire people who go out in peaceful demonstrations to defend their right to their homeland and in the face of the attacks of the occupation forces and settlers.
The ministry confirmed that the violent and barbaric treatment of the occupation forces against the participants in those demonstrations aims to break the will of steadfastness and resistance of the Palestinians against the attacks of settlers and the settlement plans of the occupation aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause in flagrant violation of international legitimacy resolutions, foremost of which is Security Council Resolution 2334, which confirms the illegality of settlements in the territories occupied Palestinian territory.
The ministry renewed its call on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities and to provide international protection for the Palestinian people under occupation to enable them to exercise their right to self-determination and to establish their independent state on the line of June 4, 1967, with Jerusalem as its capital.
