On Tuesday, the students from the Free State and Baden-Württemberg will go back to school again.
Because of Corona * and travel restrictions in many holiday countries, many probably only went to Italy or the Balkans by car.
And those returning travelers want to go home now.
This can lead to busy motorways and lengthy traffic jams.

The ADAC anticipates a busy weekend, especially for the south of Germany.
“On Saturday and Sunday, not only the motorways but also the access roads to the excursion areas are at risk of congestion.
Even when the main travel season is over, there are still numerous holidaymakers who are not tied to any vacation dates and who use the good weather for excursions, ”says the automobile club's website.
The numerous construction sites are another brake on the motorways.
According to ADAC, there should be over 900 of them in Germany.
The construction activity will increase significantly in September, it says on the homepage.

Initially, however, the expected traffic jams did not materialize on Saturday morning.
One could speak of a brisk volume of traffic, but it was not yet dramatic, said an ADAC spokesman.
The main wave of travelers will probably only reach the Free State around noon or early afternoon.
According to the automobile club, the A3 Passau-Würzburg, the A9 Munich-Nuremberg, the A93 Kufstein-Inntaldreieck, the A95 / B2 Munich-Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the A8 Salzburg-Munich are particularly affected.
According to ADAC, there were already one or two bottlenecks on the A8 on Saturday morning, but it was still within limits.

Additional obstacles in road traffic are to be expected, especially in and around Munich *.
Numerous protests in connection with the IAA Mobility will take place there on Saturday.
A cycling tour from the suburb of the state capital is also planned.
Up to 40,000 activists are expected to take part.
This can lead to traffic jams and delays in the urban area until late in the evening.
