Two minors were rescued at sea, clinging to the body of their deceased mother, after their boat was wrecked on September 3, in Venezuela.
According to the Venezuelan media, the Intermarine Z29 boat sailed on Friday, September 3, from Higuerote to the island of La Tortuga.
On board were eight people: four members of the same family and four other companions.
The newspaper 'El Nacional' reported that the group was expected on the island by some friends, who at first thought that their guests had not left in their boat.
The shocking images of two minors clinging to the lifeless body of their mother, in a shipwreck in Venezuela, went around the world.
However, not finding the boat, on Monday, September 6, they reported the disappearance of the eight people.

The disappeared were identified as David Camblor (6 years old), María Beatriz Camblor (2 years old), Remis David Camblor, Mariely Beatriz Chacón Marroquín, Verónica Martínez, José Javier Marcano Narváez, Alejandro Osorio Graterol and Vianney Dos Santos Morales.
Authorities began a series of overflights to find the missing in the area.
In one of these overflights,
the authorities observed four of the missing persons, two minors and two women who were in the boat.

However, the scene they encountered was tragic.
One of the women was inside an empty ice box,
while the two minors clung to the body of their deceased mother in a small lifeboat.

According to 'El Nacional', the mother of the minors died inside the float due to dehydration.
The other woman and the children were rescued and taken to health centers, where they are recovering from dehydration and several first-degree burns.
The other four people were not found by the Venezuelan authorities.
According to one of the rescued women, who would be the babysitter of the minors,
the boat "was going in the opposite direction to the direction of the waves," which caused the boat to split in two and, later, sink.
