Beuerberg:
This year 900 Beuerberg Abbey will be celebrated. The day of the open monument is used to offer several public tours, namely through the exhibition “Commune 1121 - Visions of Another Life” (11.30 am, 12 noon and 3 pm), through the monastery (11 am and 2 pm), the collegiate church (5 p.m.) and the garden (11 a.m.). The cost is three euros per person plus admission costs, the number of participants is limited in accordance with the current hygiene regulations. A guided walk with Pia Fuhrmann at 2 p.m. should also be delightful: On the way from Eurasburger Schlossberg to Happerg, visitors will encounter various forms of coexistence in the 20th and 21st centuries. Beuerberg also has a second memorial on Sunday: the history of the “Schustermann” monument, built in 1659 at Herrnhauser Strasse 14, is closely linked to the 900-year history of the monastery.
In addition to its function as a rafting and mercenary house, the house was also in the feudal service of the sister order.
From 10 a.m., Ilse Wagner and Mark Lafogler will guide you through the timber construction, which is currently being renovated.

Thanning
Thanning, now part of the municipality of Egling, looks back on an eventful history.
Mentioned for the first time in 769, the village was the former seat of a count, original parish and court.
On an entertaining tour of eight monuments, Dr.
Guido W. Jachenau:
On Sunday, there will be a hike to historic landmarks from 1584 and 1651 at Sylvensteinspeicher.

As part of a three-hour mountain hike (whatever the weather), Jost Gudelius first leads history buffs to the Schronbach-Alm.
There you stay for about 45 minutes at the first boundary stone.
This is followed by an ascent of around 200 meters through the mountain forest on the Adamskopf and a short descent to the Schronbach.
The second boundary stone is inspected there.
Sturdy shoes, snacks and drinks are recommended, the hike is suitable for children from ten years of age.
The meeting point is at 10 a.m. at the Sylvensteinspeicher, the parking lot north below the dam on the Isar bridge.
Benediktbeuern
The old sheep farm in the west of the monastery complex was built around 1760.
There the barrels for the adjoining monastery brewery were made.
Today the Fraunhofer-Zentrum Benediktbeuern is located in the old shepherd's workshop.
The originally planned public tour has been canceled due to the pandemic.
Instead, you can interactively move through the building on a virtual 3D tour, visit the baroque roof structure and visit the exhibition on topics related to listed and energetic renovation, in particular the interior insulation research project.
Lenggries
The Lenggrieser Kalvarienberg is one of the oldest in the German-speaking area. A public tour is offered there on Sunday. It starts at 3:30 p.m. and lasts about an hour. A visit can be combined with the last musical break “Sunday at five” at 5 pm, which also takes place on the Calvary. A 3G certificate and a medical mask are required for the guide parts in the interior of the chapels. The Kalvarienberg can be reached in about ten minutes from Hohenburg Castle or Karwendelstrasse. The tour is free and takes place in all weathers.
And there is a second appointment in Lenggries at the “Open Den kmals” day: The Hohenburg Castle Ruins Association invites the whole family to take a guided tour of the castle ruins on Sunday, September 12th.
The meeting point is the hiking car park.
Sturdy shoes are recommended for this.
It starts at 1.30 p.m.
The tour does not take place if it rains.
Ammerland
Since 2007, the Ostuferschutzverband (OSV) has been restoring the palace chapel of the Holy Three Kings at Nördliche Seestrasse 11 in the Ammerland district of Münsing.
After completion, it will be made available to the public.
On Sunday, the OSV invites you to a workshop visit from 5 p.m.
The 3G rule applies.
Visitors are asked to bring mouth and nose protection.
