The As-Suwayda branch of the National Union of Syrian Students, in cooperation with the Damascus University branch in As-Suwayda, launched a campaign to clean and prune the trees of the university’s colleges complex in the town of Al-Mazraa and the entrance to the Damascus University branch in As-Suwayda.

The campaign, which will continue until next Thursday, includes decorating and cleaning the entrance to the Damascus University branch in Sweida, painting the sidewalks and painting on the walls, with the participation of a number of college students.

The head of the As-Suwayda branch of the National Union of Syrian Students, Wafaa Al-Aflaq, told SANA reporter that the event comes within the ongoing voluntary campaigns that included decoration, landscaping and hygiene campaigns.

The Director of the Damascus University branch in Sweida, Dr. Khaled Kiwan, stressed the importance of the campaign to beautify and improve the entrance and gardens of the Damascus University branch in Sweida, which is a space for students in their spare time, pointing out that the campaigns instill the spirit of volunteerism among students and develop the principle of participation.

A number of student volunteers in the campaign expressed the importance of volunteer work and for their gardens to be in the most beautiful and beautiful image possible.
