A recording of Muhammad Daf was published: "We will turn all of Palestine into hell for you" | Israel today

Security tensions in Gaza:

On the occasion of the 16th anniversary of the completion of the "disengagement" plan, the terrorist organization Hamas today (Sunday) released a recording of the commander of the military wing, Muhammad Daf, which was allegedly prepared at the time. 

During the video, the head of the a-Zadin al-Qassem Brigades said that "as you say - 'go to hell' - that is, go to hell, today you are leaving Gaza because it is hell - and tomorrow we will turn all of Palestine into hell for you."

Muhammad Daf addressed the other terrorist organizations that collaborated with Hamas and congratulated them.

He noted that they must be partners "until we complete this journey and we can release the rest of the houses."

It will be recalled that about two years after the withdrawal of IDF forces, Hamas captured Gaza from the Palestinian Authority and rocket fire intensified, which led to the imposition of restrictions on the Gaza Strip and later to Operation Cast Lead in 2008. 

The recording comes in the background of security tensions in Gaza, only about four months after Operation Wall Guard.

Over the weekend, rockets were fired at the western Negev and Sderot.

Following the launches intercepted by the Iron Dome system, the IDF attacked Hamas sites in the Gaza Strip. Earlier, a senior Hamas official boasted that Israel "lost billions due to the failure of the Iron Dome in the face of resistance missiles."

The launches came after it was reported on Friday that the agreement between Qatar and the Palestinian Authority to transfer salaries to Hamas administration officials through banks affiliated with Ramallah had collapsed.

Today, the UN envoy to the Middle East, Thor Wencesland, announced that the distribution of coupons to one hundred thousand families in the Gaza Strip will begin tomorrow.
