Barak Ben Ami admitted that he murdered his baby daughter as part of a plea deal
The 35-year-old father from Hod Hasharon admitted that he strangled his 10-month-old daughter Goni to death and that he tried to murder his wife and their 3-year-old daughter.

Barak Ben Ami, a 35-year-old resident of Hod Hasharon, admitted this morning (Sunday) that he murdered his baby daughter Goni, last year in Hod Hasharon and that he tried to murder his then wife and 3-year-old daughter. This, as part of a plea agreement that was announced this morning in the Lod District Court. According to the indictment, Ben Ami decided to kill his wife and daughters and end his life. While his wife, A., was sitting on the couch with the baby in her arms, he began punching her, pushing and strangling her while she tried to escape, and even told her "I will die today." He later took a knife from the kitchen, stabbed A. several times in the neck until she fell to the floor with the baby left on the couch. Ben Ami continued to strangle and stab his wife, then stabbed his two daughters.
In a post published by the mother, she called on the public to attend a "rally in support of the victims of the murder" in the courtroom.
