Charge against an inmate at Gilboa Prison: Poured boiling water on a prisoner after the terrorists fled

An inmate is accused of trying to hit a prisoner as part of the riots in the prisons following the escape of the 6 terrorists.

An inmate at Gilboa Prison poured boiling water on a prisoner in an attempt to injure him, after the six terrorists fled.

A video from the prison's security cameras shows the prisoner approaching the cell, and when he reaches the prisoner's window, the boiling water splashes on his face.

The Prosecution Division of the police filed an indictment against him today (Sunday) for assaulting a public employee and causing sabotage.

According to the indictment, following the escape from the prison, instructions were issued restricting the movement of prisoners in the prison, including a reduction in the hours of departure from the cells.

The decision angered the inmate, who decided to hit the guards in response.

On Tuesday, the day after the escape, he heated water in a kettle in his cell, called the prisoner to come closer and asked him to see to it that an officer came to him.

When he got close to the window - he splashed the boiling water and hit his face and head.
