The accident car and surrounding vehicles went up in flames.
The man died at the scene of the accident.
Wieseth (Ansbach district) - The rescuers saw a terrible picture on Sunday morning at around 5 a.m.
Several cars were in flames.
The car involved in the accident was already in full fire.
Any help came too late for the 27-year-old driver.
First aiders had previously tried to extinguish the vehicle and informed the rescue coordination center.
Serious accident in the Ansbach district in the morning: the car goes up in flames
The man lost control of his vehicle in the morning hours in the Wieseth area, turned left off the lane, raced over a traffic island and hit a house wall.
Then the car went up in flames.
According to the Feuchtwangen police, the driver was trapped and could no longer get out of the vehicle.
He succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene of the accident.
Rescue workers from the Wieseth, Feuchtwangen, Forndorf and Bechhofen voluntary fire brigades extinguished the fire and secured the scene of the accident.
Police and ambulance services were also on duty.
Rescue workers and first aiders are looked after by pastors.
The investigation into the course of the accident is ongoing.
