For several days now, the whole country has been talking about only one thing: the breakup of Noa Kirl and Jonathan Margie after three years of a super-publicized relationship and months of rumors about cracks and a breakup that was denied at every opportunity.
As expected, although the two rushed to simultaneously raise stories confirming the breakup with a few carefully chosen laconic words, the network was flooded with thousands of responses that were also reinforced in the news editions and in every studio where a panel could be convened to discuss what grew to national drama.
"An earthquake you call it. It's really a disgrace," an outraged surfer on her exaggerated media attention won the farewell with particularly dramatic headlines.
"When a soldier was shot in the head in the Gaza Strip, you did not react like that. Little girls were raped by human animals, and you still did not react like that," another surfer was angry.
"Oh no, how they did not declare a national day of mourning," mocked another surfer.
"In resuscitation, there are so many more interesting things than these two spoiled children."
"Noa Kirel and Margie's breakup. Zero intelligence in advance. Zero deterrence. Bennett, it's on your shift, resign!", Others mocked.
The exaggerated farewell coverage in the media was well summed up by a particularly creative tweet who took "Oh Captain," the well-known hit of Margie's mother, singer Meital Trabelsi, and changed his lyrics to suit the occasion:
"Oh Captain, my captain,
Listen to the sound of a bell in Israel Entertainment has no light
Guy Pines Depression did not convene the Cabinet
There is no end to the play because Noa Kirl and Margie will not be 'this couple'
Alas my heart, my heart, my heart Oh a stain of blood drinking
We have not cried like this since the separation between Judah and Ninet "
