The Palestinian prisoner Kifah Al-Hattab continues his open hunger strike in solidarity with the six Palestinian prisoners who liberated themselves through a tunnel dug with their own hands in Gilboa prison, and the Israeli occupation forces re-arrested four of them.
The Commission for Detainees and Ex-Prisoners Affairs said in a statement today, carried by Wafa Agency, that Al-Hattab, who has been detained since 2002, has been on an open hunger strike for the second day in a row, in solidarity with the six prisoners.
During the past two days, the occupation forces re-arrested four of the six prisoners and prevented them from visiting in light of Palestinian demands for the international community to pressure the occupation to stop its violations of their rights and provide them with protection.
