An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale struck this morning the outskirts of the city of Qojan in the Razavi Khorasan Province, northeastern Iran.
Fars news agency quoted the Seismological Center of the Geophysics Foundation at Tehran University as saying that the tremor occurred at a depth of 6 kilometers and 107 kilometers from the city of Mashhad, noting that there were no reports so far about possible losses and damages.
