Conmebol confirmed this Monday the dispute in October of three dates of the South American Qualifiers for the Qatar World Cup 2022. It is because it incorporated the fifth day that had been postponed last March due to the refusal of the European clubs to yield to the soccer players of the South Americans selected for the pandemic.

Will there be another round for the coaches to have their players?

The South American football matrix explained in a statement that the October FIFA dates of the regional world premier, which include the matches of the eleventh and twelfth days, will be added the fifth date, originally scheduled to be played on March 25 and 26.

The eleventh round of the tie, to be played on October 7, includes the matches Uruguay-Colombia, Peru-Chile, Venezuela, Brazil, Paraguay-Argentina and Ecuador-Bolivia.

Three days later, on Sunday 10, the postponed fifth date will be played with the Colombia-Brazil, Venezuela-Ecuador, Bolivia-Peru, Argentina-Uruguay and Chile-Paraguay matches.

On Thursday 14, continuing with the original calendar, it will be the turn of the twelfth date with the matches Colombia-Ecuador, Brazil-Uruguay, Bolivia-Paraguay, Argentina-Peru and Chile-Venezuela.

Brazil leads with 24 points.

Argentina is second with 18, Uruguay is third with 15, Ecuador is fourth with 13 and Colombia is now fifth with 13 units. The South American Qualifiers grant four direct spots and the fifth placed in the table the possibility of playing an intercontinental playoff.
