- After a rich year in 2021 in terms of salary increases, will companies increase their employees in 2022?

Delphine LANDEROIN.

- In 2021, the business increase budget was 1.45%, among the lowest for ten years.

For 2022, 95% of companies plan to increase their employees and announce average budgets of 1.8%, in line with previous years (1.8% in 2017, 2.1% in 2018, 2.2% in 2019, 2% in 2020).

This is explained both because companies are feeling the beginnings of the recovery, because they have better visibility of their activity, but also because several sectors have to deal with recruitment pressures.
