The results of the
PASO 2021 Elections
in the
province of Buenos Aires
will mark who are the candidates who will compete in the next legislative elections in November, after this Sunday the Buenos Aires citizens approached the voting centers to cast their vote in the open primaries, simultaneous and mandatory.
STEP: what is voted in the province of Buenos Aires
In the two rounds of national elections there is a registry of 34,330,557 citizens, according to data published by the
National Electoral Chamber
(CNE).
That number represents an increase of 7.06% compared to the voters in 2019, which at that time were 32,064,323 citizens in a position to vote.
The
province of Buenos Aires
continues to be the district with the largest electoral volume: with its 12,704,518 voters, it accounts for 37% of the national register.
In the
PASO
, the
Buenos Aires
citizens will go to the polls to choose which lists of candidates for deputies and senators will be presented in the legislative elections on November 14, with the aim of redesigning the political map of the National Congress, the Legislature of the Province and the deliberative councils of the 135 districts.

, the district with the most inhabitants in the country and with the largest parliamentary representation, 35 national deputies end their mandate, of which 16 correspond to the Frente de Todos (the FPV and the Frente Renovador are added) and 14 belong to Together for the Change (8 from the PRO, 3 from the UCR and 3 from the Civic Coalition).
The ballot boxes will once again be ready to receive the election of the citizens.

ruling coalition
will go with a unity list, headed by
Victoria Tolosa Paz and Daniel Gollan
.
The head of the National Council for Social Policies represents President Alberto Fernández, while the province's Minister of Health appears as a close name to Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.

Meanwhile, the opposition
Juntos will
decide in the
STEP
who will be the candidates for the parliamentary elections on November 14 between two lists: the one led by the
PRO
leader
Diego Santilli and the one led by the radical neuroscientist Facundo Manes.

In the case of the former Buenos Aires deputy head of government, he is seconded by Graciela Ocaña.
This appointment removed from the list Miguel Pichetto, leader of Republican Peronism, who will support Santilli, but without joining the payroll.

is made up of the vice-rector of the National University of the Northwest of the province of Buenos Aires, Danya Tabella, who responds to Martín Lousteau;
the former president of the National Chamber of Deputies, Emilio Monzó;

The other space that will contest the primaries in the Province is the
Left Front
, which postulates a list led by Nicolás del Caño and another with Alejandro Bodart at the head.
The Nuevo Más did not manage to agree with the FIT-U forces, so it appears separately, with Manuela Castañeira as a candidate for national deputy for the Province.

When held simultaneously, the election in the province of Buenos Aires will include
four categories
: national legislators, provincial legislators, municipal councilors and school counselors.
In the case of provincial legislators, Buenos Aires
divides the renewal of positions in two
: 46 deputies will be elected in the Second, Third, Sixth and Eighth electoral sections;
and 23 senators in the First, Fourth, Fifth and Seventh Electoral Sections.

Citizens who have not cast their vote must justify their abstention with the documentation that proves the reason for the absence, to this end they must do so before the
Electoral Secretariat corresponding to their district
or the National Electoral Chamber, or enter the web of Offenders.
