Kenia González, sister of opposition student leader Lesther Alemán, who was detained by Nicaraguan authorities last July, shares with CNN that, although he asked them to be prepared for such a scenario, it is too shocking and difficult for them.
González comments that Alemán's family fears for his life, pointing out that there are rights violations in the judicial process he faces.
CNN has asked the Nicaraguan authorities about this and other cases of detainees with no response so far.
