More than 70 centers are available to students in universities to submit applications for differentiation of all kinds for the scientific branch and direct registration for the literary branch.

SANA monitored the atmosphere for submitting the differentiation applications, which started yesterday, Sunday and will continue until the 30th of this September, where the Director of the Center of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Damascus University, Engineer Omar Al-Masry, referred to work to shorten the registration time as much as possible so that it does not exceed ten minutes, indicating that the center includes 53 computers and a team of engineers. College staff and student union cadres to deal with applicants in an orderly and accurate manner.

Among those responsible for entering students’ data electronically, Engineer Ola Ahmed explained that their role is to help students register their desires to avoid any error and enter them into the computer and check them. Uday Al-Baddah from the Student Union said: “We try to advise students to choose their desires according to their preferences.” Students’ questions generally focus on the future of Study in every major or college.

From a registration center at the Faculty of Law at the University of Damascus, its director, Ali Hammoud, indicated that more than 20 computers were equipped to enter data and organize the entry process, pointing out that the student wishing to register a specialty in the parallel must pay an advance in the real estate bank.

In As-Suwayda, the director of the Damascus University branch in the governorate, Dr. Khaled Kiwan, stressed that all technical and organizational measures are taken to facilitate and expedite the registration process and to avoid overcrowding.

The supervisor of the comparison center, Thaqif Hamza, pointed out that the center began receiving applications for registration on the comparison, after ensuring the readiness of all technical and human requirements, and coordinating with the Student Union to organize the role, especially with the conditions imposed by the Corona virus, pointing to giving preference in the first days to students who have competitions colleges of fine arts and architecture.

For his part, the head of the administrative body of the Student Union branch at the Second College of Education, Jadaan Al-Jabai, stated that the union branch organized during the past week introductory seminars that covered the rural and city areas to introduce the registration mechanism on the general differentiation and its conditions to avoid students making any mistake, as the two students, Aktham Arab and Laith Al-Arbeed, noted the good organization and process Facilitated registration.

In Homs, Al-Baath University continues to accept applications for differentiation in seven registration centers, where the university president, Dr. Abdul Basit Al-Khatib, confirmed the allocation of a team of 150 workers, 110 computers and 20 printers, pointing to the increase in the number of differentiation centers to reduce overcrowding, achieve spatial distance, and put signs and instructions to facilitate the movement of students.

In Aleppo, the President of the University, Dr. Maher Karman, stressed the provision of all facilities in the registration centers in different places of the university, while Maya Al-Ati, head of the administrative body at the University’s College of Education, pointed to the role of the exhibition “Your Eye is Your Specialization” in helping students determine their interests and university specialization.

In Lattakia, the Vice President of Tishreen University for Administrative Affairs and Students, Dr. Iyad Fahsa, stated that 23 registration centers were equipped and procedures were taken to ensure their smooth operation.

In Tartous, the administrative vice president of the university, Dr. Adib Barhoum, explained that the registration centers at Tartous University are distributed among the faculties of arts, economics, technical engineering, tourism and education, in addition to two registration centers for families of martyrs and special needs at the university's information technology incubator headquarters.

In Hama, the president of the university, Dr. Ziyad Sultan, drew attention to the preparation of 10 registration centers for the university comparison, 8 of them in the city of Hama, two in Salamiyah and one in Masyaf, stressing that the registration process is going smoothly without difficulties and witnessed a great turnout on its first day.

The university president called on applicants to choose their desires carefully and not to rush or submit to external influences, but rather to balance personal desire and the declared limits of each specialization, indicating the importance of taking care of the skills required by the labor market in addition to a university degree and investing years of study in developing these skills.

In Deir ez-Zor, the Vice President of Euphrates University, Dr. Muhammad Tahtuh, stated that registration centers were opened in both the Faculty of Agriculture for students of the scientific branch and in the Faculty of Arts for students of the literary branch, and the creation of an atmosphere that ensures that students register their desires with ease and ease.

In Al-Hasakah, the director of the Euphrates University branch, Dr. Abdullah Al-Salmo, stated that the university branch has prepared two centers in the Faculty of Law for comparison, in addition to a special center for registering the children of martyrs and members of the faculty, granting private universities and taking all necessary measures to implement precautionary measures to prevent the Corona virus through spatial separation and wearing Masks and use of sterilizers.

For his part, the head of the Student Union branch in Al-Hasakah, Alaa Al-Tala’, indicated that the “Your Eye is Your Specialization” initiative, which is implemented in parallel with the period of progress to the differentiation, aims to introduce students to university specializations so that they can choose their desires with knowledge and awareness.

The official of the committees in the union branch, Amed Damuk, indicated that 25 outstanding students were selected in university faculties to provide an introduction to the majors and courses and to relieve the pressures imposed by the parents and the environment on the students.
