The Syriac Catholic Patriarch of Antioch, Mar Ignatius Youssef III Younan, affirmed that the Syrians assured the world of their adherence to their homeland and their quest for the return of security and safety to all its regions.
During the opening of the annual Synod of Bishops of the Syriac Catholic Church of Antioch in the monastery of Our Lady of Deliverance in Lebanon, Patriarch Younan said, “We are holding this meeting in light of dangerous situations and great challenges that almost no part of the world is without, especially the Middle East, which is exposed to countless economic and social crises and challenges. a lot".
He expressed his congratulations to Lebanon on the formation of a new government and hoped that this government would work as quickly as possible to stop the collapse taking place in Lebanon at all levels.
