Berlin - Exactly two weeks before the federal election *, the chancellor candidates faced each other in a direct TV triall.

Olaf Scholz (SPD), Armin Laschet (Union) and Annalena Baerbock (Greens) wanted to use the opportunity on public television to attract voters.

Laschet and Scholz are close together with 26 and 28 percent.

Baerbock was also able to convince with sympathy points.

The Green candidate decides the question "Who did you find the most likable?" With 39 percent.

Behind the native of Lower Saxony, Scholz ranks 34 percent.

NRW Prime Minister Laschet ends up in last place with 18 percent.
