Berlin - Exactly two weeks before the federal election *, the chancellor candidates faced each other in a direct TV triall.

Olaf Scholz (SPD), Armin Laschet (Union) and Annalena Baerbock (Greens) wanted to use the opportunity on public television to attract voters.

Meanwhile, Baerbock can decide for himself the question of "who radiated the greatest energy".

41 percent of those surveyed named the Green candidate.

Laschet and Scholz are close together with 26 and 28 percent.

Baerbock was also able to convince with sympathy points.

The Green candidate decides the question "Who did you find the most likable?" With 39 percent.

Behind the native of Lower Saxony, Scholz ranks 34 percent.

NRW Prime Minister Laschet ends up in last place with 18 percent.

In the ARD talk Anne Will, this result was partly attributed to Laschet's more aggressive style.

The CDU boss repeatedly relied on smaller attacks - especially in the direction of Scholz.

All three candidates can count on support in their own party ranks.

Baerbock (71 percent), Laschet (74) and Scholz (77) are close together in this context.

Meanwhile, those people who said they were undecided about their voting decision are interesting.

The trio wants to target this population group in a targeted manner.

While Laschet (25 percent) and Baerbock (26) know about a quarter of the undecided behind them, Scholz can convince 37 percent of himself.

The SPD politician also seems to be the clear winner in the second TV triall.

The 63-year-old had already won the first triall.
