A hard-to-watch video taken at a water park near Niagara Falls in Canada documents an older female orca (killer) whale banging its head against the walls of the aquarium where it lives alone.
This is an orca that goes by the name Kiska, who was born off the coast of Iceland in 1979 and spent most of her adult life in captivity.
For the past decade, Kiska has been found alone in its water tank, after being separated from its five descendants and is now defined by activists of the Whale Shelter Project as the loneliest whale in the world.
