Ahead of the game, Ola Gunnar Solskjaer told the media that he would have to cleverly manage Cristiano Ronaldo's minutes and stated that the 36-year-old Portuguese can not expect to play in every game, which is already expected to sit on the bench tomorrow.
As you may recall, it was only on Saturday that Ronaldo made his comeback at Old Trafford with two goals in a 1-4 win over Newcastle, but his coach is aware that he needs to get some rest.
"It's not impossible to keep him out, he will not play in every game," Solskjaer said.
