At the Czasny car dealership in Herrsching, Franz and Christl Czasny, sales consultants Robert Franz and closest friends are waiting for the actor Bernhard Ulrich, who has been part of the brewery owner Hubert Kirchleitner in “Dahoam is Dahoam” for 14 years.
The occasion of his visit to the Ammersee was a meeting between him and his doppelganger, the Czasny employee.

- “Will he really come?” Robert Franz can't quite believe that the actor has accepted the invitation and made his way to Herrsching. But punctually at the agreed time, the door opens and Bernhard Ulrich enters the sales room. Dead silence, then a liberating laugh.
There they are now facing each other and could very well be twins. The similarity is amazing. "Yes, wherever I go, I am stopped and asked: 'You are the one from Bavaria, the one from television'", says Robert Franz. Regardless of whether the 59-year-old from Munich is on vacation on the Baltic Sea or in Bavaria everywhere without hesitation as brewery owner Hubert Kirchleitner. “I'm from Bavaria. But I'm not from Dahoam is Dahoam ”, Robert Franz then replies to Bernhard Ulrich's many fans.
"Dahoam is Dahoam" has been an early evening series on Bavarian television since 2007, which has thrilled millions of fans in Germany and Austria. After all, they are stories from a fictional Bavarian village called Lansing that life couldn't write better. Bernhard Ulrich has been with us from the start as the brewery owner Hubert Kirchleitner. Born in Munich, he is convinced that this role was somehow made for him. “I finally got a role in which I was allowed to talk as I do in everyday life. And since I was part of the series from the very beginning, I was also able to influence the development of the brewery owner as a person, ”emphasizes Bernhard Ulrich.
Born in 1967, it quickly became clear to him that he would become a magician and ultimately an actor.
Whereby his heart goes a bit more towards the theater.

After a good two hours of chatting in the Herrsching dealership, Bernhard Ulrich finally invited his doppelganger to attend the next open day at “Dahoam is Dahoam” and, if necessary, to represent him at the autograph session.
“Under normal circumstances, over 10,000 people come to our studio village of Lansing.
Unfortunately, this year everything took place on a smaller scale due to Corona.
Now we hope that everything will normalize a little by 2022, ”says Bernhard Ulrich.
Robert Franz is happy: "Hopefully my boss will then give me the time off because he is always afraid, I'll have a career as a doppelganger and stop at the dealership."
