After knowing preliminary results, the defeat of the ruling party was evident and the president, Alberto Fernández, acknowledged it by saying "we will not have done something right so that people do not accompany us."

The Global Witness organization collected and analyzed 2020 data related to lethal attacks on environmental defenders around the world.
It found that that year 227 people died defending forests, water and other resources, with Colombia and Mexico being the countries with the most murders.

The Asian nation claims it successfully tested new long-range cruise missiles over the weekend, according to Korea's Central News Agency.
According to the report, the weapons had been developed over two years.
