Google continues to improve its official calling app.
On this occasion, the electronic giant has added a new option that will help us to know who is calling us on our mobile phone and what is their reason.
All this as long as you have previously notified Google, which will allow us to reject the call if it is suspected of spam or simply if we consider that we do not have to answer it.
To date we could know if the number he was trying to call us was suspicious or not.
From now on, we can also find out what the reason for your call is.
Although at the moment they are not obliged to determine the reason for it, Google could classify in the future as spam all those calls that do not previously notify the reason why they are calling third parties, which would lead to the great most of them to reveal it.
So you can identify who is calling you
In this way, and before answering the call, the person who consults the mobile phone in question will be able to know which company is calling them and their main reason. Even if you do not have the registered phone number, Google's artificial intelligence will tell you who it is and why they are calling you. Among other things, it could alert you to a possible call to change phone companies or for roadside assistance.
Therefore, it would be in your power to answer that phone call or let it pass.
In fact, and in case it was a number that you would not like to hear from again, you could block it.
But, to do all this, you will need to have the Google phone application.
In case you don't have it on your mobile phone, you can find it on Google Play.
Once downloaded and installed on your mobile phone, you just have to click on the three dots that will appear at the top of your mobile phone and go to Settings.
You will be able to know who calls you and their reason
Next, navigate through the menu until you find the option 'Caller ID and spam'.
Once there, the Google phone application will allow you to enable an option to see the identifier of each call.
On the other hand, you can also prevent possible spam calls from bothering you and even discover the reason why companies call you.
Thanks to this, and every time the phone lights up with a dangerous red color that warns you of possible spam, you will not have to answer.
A new tool through which Google intends, among other things, to end all those unexpected calls that you never wanted to have received.
