Major property damage, many emergency services - but no injuries: A traffic accident at the roundabout near the Bayerischer Hof in Miesbach caused a stir on Sunday evening.
Miesbach - A serious traffic accident occurred on Sunday afternoon around 4:50 p.m. in Miesbach.
According to the police, an elderly couple from Töging am Inn drove their silver Ford Focus on state road 2073 from Weyarn in a southerly direction to the Miesbach area.

At the junction with the Am Windfeld industrial park, a 19-year-old from Bayrischzeller wanted to turn right into the state road with his black BMW 318i coming out of the junction.
Here he overlooked the couple coming from the left with right of way, informed the police.
As a result, the two vehicles collided.
Both cars were severely damaged and are no longer roadworthy.
The occupants of the Ford Focus - an 86-year-old driver and his 76-year-old passenger - were not injured as things stand.
The BMW driver from Bayrischzell was also unharmed according to initial findings by the police.
According to initial estimates, police officers put the property damage at around 13,000 euros.
State road 2073 to Weyarn completely closed - many emergency services on site
For the duration of the accident recording, the lane had to be completely closed at times.
The Bavarian Red Cross were deployed with an ambulance at the scene of the accident.
An emergency doctor and an operations manager were also on site.
The Miesbach voluntary fire brigade was on site with four vehicles and 26 emergency services.
