The critical symposium hosted by Thaqafi Abu Rummaneh dealt with an analytical and methodological reading of the artistic features in my books “Representations of Politics in the Poetry of Nizar Qabbani” and “Critical Approaches in Poetry and Novel” by critic Iyad Morshed, in which poets and writers participated.
In his axis between the poet Dr. Nizar Bani Al-Marjah that the book “Political Representations in Nizar Qabbani’s Poetry” sheds light on the basic concepts and the development of the relationship between the poet and the issues of his time in addition to some positions in his life, maturity and creativity in his poetry, what political poetry he has, the opinions of critics and the reasons for his interest in the issues that It was important to him, especially the Palestinian issue, pointing to the poet Qabbani's briefing on the nation's issues and confronting the palaces
Commitment to the concerns of the homeland, glorification of the resistance, and other topics that caused the expansion of his popularity and the love of the large popular base for him.
As for the poet Jaber Ibrahim Salman, he dealt with the book “The Critic’s Guide to Critical Approaches to Poetry and Narrative,” which included a reading of the poetry of Abdul Karim Al-Naem, Youssef Al-Mismar, Nizar Qabbani, the literature of Hani Al-Raheb and the way it described and treated the poetry and literature of those who were in the book, pointing out that the Nizari text in form and content is open to diligence and that The novel according to Hani Al-Raheb absorbed all modern novel techniques, pointing to the importance of time and event in it, benefiting from the modern techniques of the West, and the novel Alf Layla and Two Nights was a model.
On the other hand, the literary critic Maysam Al-Juloud Al-Shammari, representative of Sen Publishing and Media, who published the book Critical Approaches to Poetry and Novel, indicated that the novel had won the literary competition announced by the house, so she printed it due to the importance of the critical means contained in it that was dealt with by Morshed and the techniques that characterized it. book methodology.
The author of the two books, the critic Morshed, explained that criticism has artistic foundations that depend on it and principles because it is one of the most important literary genres and their forms. When it adheres to its real components, it adds to the culture what is innovative and new and contributes to its real construction.
The director of the symposium, the poet Muhammad Khaled al-Khidr, spoke about the methods used by the participants in the symposium when they dealt with the topics of writers, in addition to the artistic construction in Nizar's poetry.
The head of the Arab Writers Union, Dr. Muhammad Al-Hourani, in his intervention, stated that these seminars are extremely important if they continue in their correct form, adhere to the principles of criticism, and address real literature in an investigative manner without falsehood.
The head of the cultural center, artist Rabab Ahmed, said: The participants in the symposium presented things that added new innovations in criticism, especially that they participated with the author of the two books to correctly shed light on Nizar Qabbani's poetic personality and his national affiliation.
