After five years of marriage and countless dramas, Britney Spears, 39, and her partner, fitness coach and actor Sam Asgari, 27, are on their way to the canopy.
Over the weekend Asgari was quick to delete a photo of an engagement ring that went up on his Instagram account and claimed the account had been hacked.
Last night (Sunday), however, the two uploaded photos and videos to their Instagram accounts confirming the engagement, with Britney wearing a diamond ring on her finger.
Asgari uploaded a photo of himself and Spears waving a triple finger, with the ring, toward the camera.
Spears uploaded a video and wrote, "I can't believe it," as she looks smiling and happy, kissing Asgari and answering him in the affirmative when he asks her if she likes the ring.

The glittering diamond ring was designed by New York jewelery designer Roman Maliev, and in addition to a four-carat diamond, it also features an engraving of Asgari's affectionate nickname for a British lioness (lioness) on the inside.
Asgari's manager issued a statement to the media saying: "The couple have made their long relationship official today. They are very excited about the support, love and dedication they are receiving."
As part of Spears' well-publicized and dramatic legal battle against her father's guardianship, she revealed that she was prevented from institutionalizing her relationship with Asgari or having children with him.
Recently, after long months of struggle, father Jimmy Spears expressed a willingness to release Spears from guardianship - which apparently led to the long-awaited marriage proposal.

Spears and Asgari met on the set of the clip "Slumber Party" in 2016. Asgari is a native of Tehran and emigrated with his family to Los Angeles when he was 12 years old.
Spears has been married twice in the past: in 2004 she married her childhood friend Jason Alexander in a 55-hour divorce in Las Vegas, which was canceled after 55 hours, and in the same year she exchanged vows with Kevin Federline, with whom she gave birth to two sons.
She divorced him in 2007.
