Hundreds of Palestinians demonstrated in the cities of Tulkarm and Qalqilya in the West Bank today in support of the prisoners and in protest against the crimes of the Israeli occupation in its prisons.
According to Wafa Agency, a demonstration was launched in front of the Red Cross headquarters in Tulkarm, during which the participants raised the Palestinian flags and chanted slogans calling for the freedom of the prisoners, stressing the necessity of close ranks and national cohesion in order to support the prisoners and solidarity with them.
In Qalqilya, during a demonstration in the city center, the participants expressed their full support for the prisoners in light of the frenzied campaign waged by the occupation authorities against them, which escalated after six prisoners seized their freedom from Gilboa prison.
The participants called on international human rights, humanitarian and legal organizations to move seriously and break their silence regarding what the prisoners are exposed to and to put pressure on the occupation to stop its arbitrary and retaliatory practices against the prisoners.
