A woman fell into the sea from a speedboat in Tai Long Sai Wan two years ago and died after being hit by a speedboat's propeller.
The woman’s family filed a petition in the High Court yesterday (13th), alleging the negligence of the owner and helmsman of the speedboat involved in the case, which caused the accident, and demanded compensation from the other party.
The plaintiff is Hong Yingzi, the dependant of the deceased Hong Xiaoyuan, and the defendant is Dong Bo.
The plaintiff is filing a complaint that the deceased fell into the sea from the speedboat involved in the case on October 19, 2019. He was hit by a propeller and died.
The plaintiff alleges that the defendant was the owner and helmsman of the speedboat involved at the time of the case, and that the accident was caused by the negligence of the defendant.
