Haim Garon, a senior figure in the field of electricity in Israel, and his wife Esther, are the couple who were killed yesterday (Monday) in the light plane crash in Greece.
Garon is one of the prosecution witnesses in the Netanyahu trial in the 4000 case. He previously served as deputy director of engineering at the Ministry of Communications.

Greek media reported yesterday that the plane that crashed was a Cessna 172, and that it crashed in the Samos island area.
This is a private flight from Haifa to Croatia, with several stops along the way, which crashed at sea.
