Rumi Neumark has received an official offer to serve as the presenter of the main edition of "Tonight News" on the Broadcasting Corporation here.
She is now the leading candidate to replace Doria Lempel, who announced her retirement several weeks ago, according to senior corporation officials.
Neumark presents "Night News", a summary edition of Channel 11's day news today, and serves as a replacement presenter for "Evening News" and "Saturday News".

Since Lampel's announcement of her departure only two and a half years later, the name exchange around her replacement identity has included former News Ten presenter Tali Moreno who refused the job due to a dispute over the scope of the job;
As well as the senior presenters from the corporation, including Geula Even and Michal Rabinovich.
Neumark began her career in 2008 in News Ten as a presenter and flash editor.
From 2014, she presented the program "The Day That Was".
