The selichot stands at the Western Wall, and in particular the selichot class on the eve of Yom Kippur, attract large crowds, and in a standard year tens of thousands of people come on the last slichot evening.
However, due to the corona, more than 8,000 people were banned from entering the Western Wall plaza, which forced many to be absent from the class.
