As construction manager Ferdinand Klettner from the engineering office Infra told our newspaper, the section from the adult education center to the parking lot at the train station is now being tackled.
The Schlierseer Straße will be excavated in this area in order to renew the drainage and bring in anti-freeze gravel.
The asphalting should take place in the 42nd or 43rd calendar week.
The overall project for relocating the Hausham level crossing was completed by the end of October - one month earlier than planned.
After decades of waiting for the construction site, it has now been completed faster than expected.

According to Klettner, the acceptance of the new level crossing is still scheduled for the period from September 20 to 23.
Just in time for the completion of Schlierseer Straße at the end of October, the cars will then roll over the new barrier system for the first time.
There is already a foretaste of the new traffic routing - in the form of the already marked turning lanes on Industriestrasse.
The traffic lights are also set up.
