An airstrike took place last night (Tuesday) on the pro-Iranian militia metro in northeastern Syria, near the town of Buchmal on the Syrian-Iraqi border, media outlets affiliated with the rebels in the country reported.
According to reports, two loud explosions took place at the border terminal operated by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards on its back to between Iraq and Syria.
The compound serves as an armored gate, will pass the militias, will be dismantled.
At this stage no casualties or damage in the attack are known and nothing has been said about the identities of the aircraft that attacked the compound. It has previously been alleged that Israeli planes attacked ammunition storage sites at the Imam Ali Revolutionary Guards base on the Syrian side of the border. In addition, American coalition forces have also in the past carried out attacks against targets of the militias in the area.
