With the staff of his leadership on stage, Alberto Fernández accepted on Sunday night the defeat of the Frente de Todos in PASO 2021. Among the figures present were
Cristina Kirchner and Victoria Tolosa Paz
, who starred in a moment that did not go unnoticed : a
cold and tense clash of fists
between the vice president and the main candidate for national deputy for the Province of Buenos Aires.
At the wee hours of Sunday and with the defeat consummated even in Buenos Aires territory, the figures of the electoral Sunday and the main referents of the ruling party took the stage in the Chacarita bunker.
The first to arrive on stage were the pre-candidates: Victoria Tolosa Paz and Daniel Gollan, for Province, and Leandro Santoro and Gisela Marziotta, for the City.
Axel Kicillof, Máximo Kirchner, Sergio Massa, Cristina Kirchner and Alberto Fernández were also there.

The President was the only one to speak before the militancy.
"Something we will not have done well so that people do not accompany us. All of us who are here listened to the verdict, with respect and attention. Surely we made mistakes that we should not make. We learn from mistakes," said the president.
When he finished giving his speech and harangue for the November general elections, the figures from the Frente de Todos exchanged greetings and hugs.
But a
gesture of tension
was portrayed in the video of a militant and went viral on social networks.
Victoria Tolosa Paz approached Cristina Kirchner and sought complicity with a clash of fists.
The vice president reacted coldly: she
barely turned to her right
and offered, lazily, her hand, almost without eye contact and with a forced half smile on her face.

In the video it is seen that Tolosa continues with the greetings and fist bumps with another of the leaders who were on stage.
Photos of the bunker show that the recipient of that greeting is Sergio Massa, president of the Chamber of Deputies,
who responds with a smile
.
Several hours had passed from the first outing on stage.
At the edge of Sunday 20, Tolosa Paz, Gollán and Kicillof celebrated the victory that was not, when the provisional data of the elections were not yet known.
Then came the long faces and the snub.
Tolosa Paz, always controversial
The candidate for national deputy led the National Council for the Coordination of Social Policies since the beginning of the presidency of Alberto Fernández.
She was also one of the referents of the
Table Against Hunger
, the entity that constituted the president after his victory in 2019 and that included intellectuals and public figures.
At the end of July his name was confirmed as the one that would head the list of the ruling party in the Province of Buenos Aires.
She was the representative of Albertism.
Gollan and Marcela Passo (third on the ballot) are names linked to Kirchnerism and Sergio Massa, in an election that
reproduced the balance
between the forces that make up the ruling coalition.
In addition to her work as a civil servant and her fervent defense of the government in the media, Tolosa Paz is also the partner of Enrique "Pepe" Albistur, former media secretary of the Kirchners.
The businessman was the one who lent Fernández an apartment in Puerto Madero, before arriving at the Casa Rosada and Quinta de Olivos.

However, Tolosa Paz
itself defended itself from questions
about its appointment as number 1 on the Buenos Aires payroll.
"Alberto and Cristina chose me, at a table with Sergio (Massa). The one who proposed my name was
possibly Alberto.
If someone believes that I am here because I am Pepe Albistur's wife, they have every right to think so. . ", said, angrily, the candidate for national deputy on Tuesday before PASO, in a tense interview with Viviana Canosa.
"For people to understand that decisions in a coalition are made collectively. I imagine that Alberto took the proposal, because I was his official. But Máximo Kirchner saw it favorably and
Cristina personally told me that he thought it was very good" he
added in that television note.
Another controversy that was generated in the middle of the campaign was his remembered phrase: "In Peronism it was always garchó".
Her humorous words raised dust: she was criticized by María Eugenia Vidal, Ricardo López Murphy and even by the essayist Beatriz Sarlo.
