The Public Establishment for Drinking Water in Al-Hasakah Governorate put three new wells into service in the Allouk Water Project after completing their maintenance, bringing the number of operating wells to 17 wells, in addition to 4 horizontal pumps.
The director of the foundation, Engineer Mahmoud Al-Akla, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the organization is working to gradually increase the number of working wells in the project, with the aim of increasing the quantities of produced water and stabilizing the reality of pumping to subscribers in the city of Hasaka and its surroundings, after reaching the quantities that were previously produced, which are estimated at 70,000 cubic meters. He pointed out that the maintenance includes submersible equipment and electrical supplies in the wells.
In a related context, Al-Okla indicated that the maintenance workshops in the organization completed this morning the maintenance procedure on the main water intake line in the Nazareth neighborhood, which was broken last night.
The Foundation had restarted the Allouk water station yesterday, after a hiatus of more than three months, as a result of the practices of the Turkish occupation and preventing it from operating the station.
