Copper thieves in the municipality of Warngau are another current problem: strangers stole around 30 copper pipes from a construction site.
Warngau - According to the police, the valuable metal components disappeared from a property at Bahnhofstrasse 26 between Friday, September 10, around 12 noon, and the following Monday, 8 a.m.
The pipes, several meters long, were in a storage room and are worth around 1000 euros.
The police assume that the perpetrators used a vehicle to take them away.
Witnesses who have seen something suspicious in the area of the construction site are asked to report to the police: Telephone 0 80 24/90 74-0.

Most recently, copper thieves did not shy away from a prominent architectural monument in the region: the perpetrators targeted the copper fittings of the observation tower on Taubenberg and mercilessly used the flex.
