Holzkirchen - An accident between an Opel and a VW occurred on Wednesday on the A8 near Holzkirchen.
Police and fire brigade were on duty.
On Wednesday (September 15) an accident with personal injury occurred at noon on the A8 motorway in the direction of Salzburg at kilometer 23.5, as reported by the Holzkirchen motorway police station.
Accordingly, an 82-year-old Berliner drove her Opel Corsa into a vehicle that was standing at the end of the traffic jam.
Her 87-year-old partner and she were seriously injured.
The occupants of the other vehicle, a VW T-Roc, were both slightly injured.
"All injured people were brought to nearby hospitals by the ambulance service," said the police.
The lane was closed for about an hour and a half to record the accident.
Employees at the Holzkirchen motorway maintenance facility diverted the traffic via the Holzkirchen-Süd tank and rest area.
The volunteer fire brigades from Holzkirchen and Otterfing were on site to secure and clear the accident site.
