The wave of resignations of officials related to Cristina Kirchner, which came after Eduardo "Wado" of Pedro's decision to resign, surprised many residents of the Casa Rosada.
One of them was Fernando "Chino" Navarro, a cabinet chief official, who was eating when the internal crisis broke out.
"I'm surprised. I was having lunch. I just found out. I'm quite confused. I don't even know if it's an undeniable resignation or if it is available," he said in a dialogue with radio Con Vos.
Navarro is the Secretary for Parliamentary and Institutional Relations and with the Civil Society, but his main task is to articulate the links with the National Congress.
In the midst of the legislative shock of Sunday's elections, he made no secret of his astonishment at the emptying of the Cabinet and called it foolish.
"It seems to me that it is not sensible. It seems to me that the Argentine population gave us the example on Sunday. I have been saying for some time that the people are better than the leadership. They gave the example by voting in peace, without any accident," he said.
"Is it wrong for someone to want to resign? No, but raise it within a framework of reasonableness and good sense," claimed Navarro, one of the headlines of the Evita Movement.
