On the occasion of Heritage Days, which take place this weekend, and European Heritage Days, the President of the Republic went to Illiers-Combray (Eure-et-Loir) to visit Marcel's house Proust, transformed into a museum.
The site is one of the eighteen selected to benefit from the funds of the Heritage Mission.
An operation led by journalist Stéphane Bern and aimed at restoring emblematic sites of French heritage.
