The posters with the slogan “Hang the Greens” had already been seen in Munich and Saxony in the past few days and had caused displeasure.
In Petershausen, the posters were on the official election billboards at the train station, on Pertrichplatz and also in Kollbach.
The Greens in Petershausen have reacted.
"One of our members is a lawyer and immediately filed a criminal complaint," reports Greens district spokesman Alexander Heisler.
"That was exactly what we wanted."
The police immediately removed all posters
After a tip from Heisler, Petershausen's mayor Marcel Fath informed the Dachau police station on Monday morning.
The officers immediately removed all posters and seized them as evidence, confirmed police spokesman Günther Findl.
"We are investigating the initial suspicion of a criminal offense under Section 111 of the Criminal Code, the public call for criminal offenses." The public prosecutor was involved.
In Munich, too, the police had taken down these election posters last week.
The Dachau police immediately acted analogously.
Green spokesman Heisler praises this quick reaction.
The right-wing radical posters have not yet appeared in other district communities, and all local Green groups in the district have been informed so that they can react quickly in case of doubt.
But one thing is certain: "We will not be intimidated by such posters."
