Be careful, always.
While a person is still missing in the Gard after the violent thunderstorms on Tuesday morning, Météo France is maintaining its orange vigilance for eight departments in the south and center of the country.
Its thus concerned by the last bulletin published by the forecaster this Wednesday morning: Hérault, Gard, Ardèche, Drôme, Aveyron, Cantal, Puy-de-Dôme and Allier.

Météo France thus warns of a succession of stormy waves over a good part of the country and especially warns of "significant overflows in the Vistre (Gard)".
In this last department, very strongly affected on Tuesday, just like in the neighboring Hérault, "a new strongly stormy episode" is taking place this Wednesday morning, and will reach the Ardèche and Drôme in the afternoon.
No lull until next night
Stormy and heavily rainy showers will affect the relief with a risk also for lowland areas, further specifies the organization.
We expect high rainfall intensities of around 80 to 100 mm in a short time locally for Hérault and Gard, 50 to 80 mm for Ardèche and Drôme.
There will also be a risk of hail and strong gusts of wind.
And Météo France to warn: “These thunderstorms may then spread over certain neighboring departments which in turn are likely to switch to orange vigilance. The lull will intervene during the next night, further specifies the forecaster.
