- Wolfdietrich Hoeveler has come a long way professionally. Today the 72-year-old lives within walls. The computer artist feels so comfortable in his adopted home that he likes to occupy the place culturally. Now he is exhibiting in the Old Town Hall and will be showing surreal works there over the coming weekend, which give the viewer plenty of room for interpretation. The title of the exhibition is "MOMA - Museum Of Mauern Art". As in the style of the famous “Museum Of Modern Art”, Hoeveler has also dedicated himself to modern art.

His personal favorite picture is the work “The Stake”, “which can be a symbol for everything.

Everyone has a stake in their flesh, ”explains the artist, who was born in Burgdorf near Hanover.

He sees the stake as a symbol of any annoyance, worry, or pressure that people can carry.

Wolfdietrich Hoeveler wants people to look at his art and think about it.

On the other hand, he does not define a goal to which the thoughts should lead.

"Three lines are no surf for me," says the man from Wall, whose works may have room for interpretation, but clearly show the subject.

One picture shows a forest flying towards the viewer in 3D.

With this picture Wolfdietrich Hoeveler wants to make it clear that a forest means life.

If you destroy the forest, you destroy life and by protecting nature you protect life.

The computer artist works his art in the Photoshop program and plays with the infinite possibilities.

What is seen should always offer the possibility of being able to find oneself in it in some form.

Wolfdietrich Hoeveler also loves to make faith more tangible with art.

On October 12th, after a prayer in the Freising Church of St. George, he will show his illustrations of the Gospel of Matthew.

From November there are plans to show graphics on the Old Testament in Moosburg's Kastulusmünster.

And he's also designing the cover picture for his wife's book, who is a writer.

But the present is the second weekend with the exhibition at home.

The works of Wolfdietrich Hoeveler can still be viewed next Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the meeting room of the Old Town Hall of Mauern.
