Update, Wednesday, 2.45 p.m.:

There is still no trace of Wolfratshauser (64), who has been missing since Tuesday afternoon.

In the meantime a platoon of the Bavarian riot police is taking part in the search.

On site are also forces from the Wolfratshausen water rescue service as well as the local operational management support group (UG ÖEL) of the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district fire inspection.

Update, Wednesday, 11.30 a.m.:

The search for Waldemar Kähler, who has been missing since Tuesday afternoon, has been continued at high pressure since daybreak. According to the police, the man who lives in a retirement home on Moosbauerweg is in need of care and is allegedly disoriented. According to information from our newspaper, a train of the riot police arrives in Loisachstadt around noon. The officers will support the forces already deployed in their search for the 64-year-old.

The Wolfratshausen police reported: On the evening of September 14th, after the missing 64-year-old resident from the Moosbauerweg retirement home (across from the district clinic), Waldemar Kähler, with strong efforts in the Wolfratshausen urban area and the Isar, Loisach and Isar-Loisach Canal wanted.

Around 80 people from the Wolfratshausen, Weidach, Ergertshausen, Neufahrn fire brigades, Penzberg mountain rescue service with three drones, Wolfratshausen police with the support of officers from Geretsried, Weilheim and the federal police, and a police helicopter were on duty.
