The Director General of the Loan Risk Guarantee Corporation, Mamoun Katbeh, revealed that the Corporation is currently studying a number of new products, including providing guarantees for loans for professional and craft workshops, scientific professions, alternative energy projects, small projects based on alternative energy, and partitions in cities and industrial areas, stressing that these products will enter into force after about a week. .

Katbeh explained in a statement to SANA’s representative that the Foundation’s board of directors has signed, to date, work agreements with cooperative industrial and agricultural banks, (Jordan Syria) and (Qatar National), and there are approvals by several public and private banks to sign similar agreements with the aim of guaranteeing the risks of credit facilities and facilitating lending operations for projects. It comes at the forefront of the institution's tasks, according to what the clerk said, guaranteeing the risks of credit facilities, such as loans and guarantees granted by financial and banking institutions for small and medium projects, and securing financial resources to guarantee these risks.

A writer indicated that the institution, after signing the agreements, will start facilitating bank customers’ access to financing, knowing that there are several conditions for granting the guarantee from the institution, foremost of which is “economic feasibility, experience and seriousness.”
