The regional police maintained a wide search device to try to locate Álvarez as the alleged perpetrator of the death of his son, a two-year-old boy, which occurred on the night of Tuesday, August 24, in a room at the Concordia hotel in Barcelona. "At the hotel I leave you what you deserve," he wrote in a message to his wife, who had separated from him.
