Damascus-SANA
Temperatures tend to drop to become lower than their average by about 1 to 3 degrees Celsius as a result of the country being affected by a shallow air depression accompanied by southwestern currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
And the General Directorate of Meteorology expected in its bulletin this morning that the weather will be between clear and partly cloudy in general, turning to cloudy starting in the afternoon hours over the coastal area, to become the opportunity for rain showers that are heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms sometimes, and the precipitation gradually extends during the night hours to the area Central and Southwest of the country.
The winds are west to southwesterly, between light and moderate, with active gusts, and the sea is light to medium waves.
The temperatures will continue to gradually decrease tomorrow, to become lower than their average by about 2 to 4 degrees Celsius, and the atmosphere will be between partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with a chance of rain showers over separate areas of the country, which are heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms sometimes over the coastal area.
