Because of the heavy smoke and the laborious fire service, the A9 had to be closed in both directions in the construction site area between Berg / Bad Steben and Naila / Selbitzin.
This resulted in massive traffic delays.
In the direction of travel north, the route could be released again at around 2 a.m., in the south only at around 5.15 a.m., as a police spokesman
