(CNN Spanish) - They

located 38 people who were kidnapped from a hotel in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, including three minors and a pregnant woman, the state prosecutor, Federico Arturo Garza Herrera, reported Tuesday night.

Among the people kidnapped early Tuesday at the Sol y Luna hotel in the Matehuala municipality were 22 foreigners, who were rescued in an "uninhabited" place and who will be taken to the state capital to receive medical and psychological care, as well as food, according to the authorities' report.

Among the foreigners there are Haitians and Cubans, according to the state prosecutor, who explained that initially they had been informed that there were also Venezuelans.

Among them were the minors and the pregnant woman, whom the Red Cross already treated preventively.

The investigation to find the whereabouts of those responsible is ongoing.

The prosecution claims that they allegedly used vans to take people away from the hotel.
